BlueFloat Energy participates in the 14th ENERMAR Technical Conference on Marine Renewable Energies: “The Sea and Renewable Energies.”

From June 26 to 28, the Auditorium of the Rectorate of the Universidade da Coruña hosted the 14th ENERMAR Technical Conference, sponsored by Parque Nordés, the offshore wind project developed by BlueFloat Energy and Sener on the Ártabra coast of Galicia.

Helena Brage, Business Development Manager at BlueFloat Energy, presented the conference “Peculiarities of Floating Offshore Wind in Galicia: Challenges and Opportunities.” In her presentation, Helena highlighted the unique aspects of deploying floating offshore wind on the Galician coast, emphasizing the importance of the technical characterization of the site to execute projects that are both environmentally and technically sustainable, and that coexist harmoniously with the region. She also explained how these projects represent a great opportunity for the Galician value chain, internationally recognized for its expertise in executing such projects.

Parque Nordés is a floating offshore wind energy project designed with and for Galicia, in collaboration and harmony with the region and institutions to address the challenge of climate change. Parque Nordés will provide a unique energy, environmental, and economic opportunity for the region, its population, and its economic, social, and business activities.
