The Parque Nordés Offshore Wind Project, developed by BlueFloat Energy together with its partners in Spain Plenitude and Sener, sponsored the 7th Galicia Offshore International Hub last Friday in Ferrol. This sponsorship reflects our commitment to advancing offshore wind in Spain and integrating it into Galicia’s economy while respecting environmental needs and other marine activities. Our Business Development Manager, Helena Brage, represented BlueFloat Energy at the event.
Organized by Galician Offshore Energy Group (GOE-Asime), Navantia Seanergies, Windar Renovables, and the Xunta de Galicia, the event brought together key industry players to discuss the potential of offshore wind in terms of economic growth, local job creation, and a strengthened Spanish supply chain. Speakers at the event highlighted the need for a clear regulatory path to enable the energy transition and emphasized the importance of responsible planning—ensuring that developments minimize environmental impacts and align with community interests. This reflects our approach at BlueFloat Energy, where stakeholder engagement and sustainable practices are fundamental to our projects.
With three projects currently in development across Spain, the BlueFloat Energy Plenitude and Sener consortium is deeply invested in the sustainable growth of the country’s offshore wind sector.
