“To make projects happen, they must be integrated into the socio-economic environment of the area. Taking this into account in the criteria for competitions is crucial. Regarding the POEM (Preservation of Ocean Environments and Marine life), we want to convey a message of moderation and dialogue. We still have work to do and find the best way to implement the projects… Parks will not be implemented in all proposed areas.”

The offshore wind industry will only be truly sustainable if it is economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable. The only way to move towards a more just and sustainable energy transition is to achieve a balance between technical feasibility, social acceptance, and local benefits of our projects.
