In her role as Business Project Analyst for Europe, Andrea provides support to our operations and business development activities across the continent. She conducts thorough market analyses, delving into regulatory landscapes, macroeconomic trends, political factors, and identifies potential partners and competitors. Andrea fosters ongoing communication with local teams, development partners, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Andrea worked as a Commercial Asset Manager for Ørsted in Warsaw (Poland). Her activities included collaborating in the development of the Baltica 2+3 OWFs in the Baltic Sea, supporting Ørsted in lifetime extension activities, conducting market research, exploring innovative technologies, and developing opportunities in the green hydrogen sector.
Additionally, Andrea worked at Basque Trade & Investment in Warsaw (Poland), where she gained valuable experience in government bodies. Her responsibilities encompassed helping Basque companies in their internationalization process and assisting Polish companies in finding local partners in the Basque Country, especially for the renewable energies (offshore energy) sector. She was actively involved in various activities such as preparing reports and market studies, identifying and evaluating opportunities, organizing trade missions, participating in fairs, engaging in public affairs, and managing political communication.
Andrea graduated in International Relations from the University of Deusto, and then completed her studies with a Master’s in International Business Administration from University Carlos III (UC3M). She also studied a joint Postgraduate program granted by the BEINT scholarships offered by the Basque Government in Corporate Internationalization Strategies, in the University of Mondragon, UPV/EHU and University of Deusto.
