As Investment Associate, Victor supports the evaluation of commercial opportunities, strategic initiatives, and project economics. Victor uses financial modelling to support decisions on the projects in development, analysis of new markets and the evaluation of acquisitions, partnerships and other strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Victor worked as an M&A and Financial Analyst at SSE Renewables, where he covered the Southern European markets for a range of technologies, including wind, solar, and batteries. His primary responsibilities included identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities, as well as supporting the development of assets within the portfolio.
Victor’s interest in the renewable energy industry was ignited during his internship within Ardian’s infrastructure department in the investment team. This experience provided him with a profound understanding of the intricate considerations involved in evaluating renewable energy assets and their transformative impact on the society.
Victor holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and has further enhanced his education with a Master’s in Management from HEC Paris.
