BlueFloat Energy participated today for the third consecutive year at the Energy Exports Conference in Aberdeen, organized by EIC (Energy Industries Council). This event brings together global leaders and professionals to explore cutting-edge trends and opportunities across the energy sector.
- Myriam Samba, Head of Government Affairs & Regulatory Affairs and who previously served as Business Development Senior Manager – APAC at BlueFloat Energy, spoke at the “Opportunities in Asia Pacific” panel. She focused on the markets with the nearest-term potential for floating wind development, including Taiwan, Australia, the Philippines, where BlueFloat Energy is active. She emphasized the importance of the collaboration between governments and industry for the industrialization of floating wind.
- Walid Oulmane, Head of Supply Chain & Industrialization at BlueFloat Energy, shared his perspective on the “Buoyant Business: Planning your Future in Floating Offshore Wind” panel. He highlighted the transformative impact of offshore wind, particularly floating wind, on the global energy transition. Walid also emphasized the importance of leveraging local and regional capabilities and the positive impact of developing a robust supply chain to support large-scale deployment of floating offshore wind.
