Energy Taiwan kicked off yesterday, October 18th with a great start!
We were honored to welcome distinguished guests to our booth, including Tze-Luen Lin, the Spokesperson of the Executive Yuan; Wen-Ling Hong, the Deputy Minister of the Ocean Affairs Council; Chao-Chung Kuo, Director of Industrial Development Administration; and Eduardo Euba, Director of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan.
BlueFloat Energy boasts one of the world’s largest floating wind project pipelines, spanning across 10 different markets, with a total installed capacity of +33 GW. This includes a pipeline of approximately 28 GW for floating offshore wind farms. We are excited to share our extensive expertise with the emerging floating wind industry in Taiwan!
Today, on October 19th, we held an important event at our stand. We have signed 2 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with our local partners, Ship and Ocean Industries R&D Center (SOIC) and National Taiwan University. The MoUs signed today will seek to undertake research and technical studies with regards to floating offshore wind systems in the environmental conditions of Taiwan Strait leveraging the expertise and knowledge of all the parties, as well as our commitment to support the Industry Talent and Technology Development Program.
