EOLYMAR, the consortium, bringing together the complementary expertise of BlueFloat Energy, Sumitomo Corporation, and Akuo for the development of 2 floating offshore wind projects off the French Mediterranean coast organized last week a one-day forum in the premises of CCI Aix Marseille Provence at the iconic Palais de la Bourse of Marseille.
The event aimed at exploring together with prominent stakeholders of Provence region, the challenges and opportunities around the energy transition in the specific area of Fos-sur-mer. Participants engaged in discussions on the territorial challenges and industrial perspectives of decarbonization, as well as on the crucial role of offshore wind in shaping the energy landscape. As emphasized by Clément Mochet, Director of EOLYMAR projects and Country Manager France at BlueFloat Energy: “Now more than ever, it’s essential to amplify the voices of those driving the energy transition.”
Floating Offshore Wind in the Mediterranean Sea is poised to create local job opportunities and drive sustainable value creation for the region.
