As Industrialization Senior Manager for Italy, Ferdinando will be responsible for developing the ports, supply chain and EPC strategy for the floating offshore wind projects that BlueFloat Energy is developing in Italy with Renantis.
Ferdinando has more than 10 years of experience in offshore projects and prior to joining BlueFloat Energy he was responsible for the Floating Wind engineering team at Maersk Supply Services based in Copenhagen. He served as Engineering Manager with responsibility for delivering various scopes in floating wind projects ranging from the development of foundation EPCI strategy for multiple early development floating wind farms worldwide, to the execution of demo projects, such as the procurement and installation of the mooring system for the DemoSath project in Spain and the EFGL project in France.
Previously, Ferdinando worked for Orwell Offshore, an EPC contractor based in London, as Senior Package Engineer responsible for the main procured items for floating offshore projects such as the Calm Buoy offloading system for the Pertamina’s Balongan field in Indonesia. Prior to that, Ferdinando worked a number of years as Consultant Engineer at BPP-TECH, a specialist offshore wind consultancy company based in London.
Ferdinando holds a Master Engineering Degree in Naval Architecture from Federico II University of Naples.
