As a Business Development Manager, Helena supports project development activities in Spain (particularly in Galicia), focusing on stakeholder management, project permitting and site development.
Helena has worked in energy sector for more than 14 years in a wide range of markets and across different technologies, including renewable energies as well as oil & gas, and refined fuels filtration.
She has developed projects in Spain, Portugal, Turkey, other Europeean countries and UAE.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Helena served as Energy Projects Specialist at the Energy Department in the Spanish Public Administration, where she was responsible for providing technical support to renewable energy projects in Galicia, by coordinating the authorization processes with the variety of the relevant statutory bodies .
Previously, Helena worked at Facet & Jonell (Filtration Group) where she held various roles: Regional Sales Manager, Applications Engineer, and Business Development for international projects (EMEA). She worked on the development of refined fuel filtration solutions through the complete supply chain, as well as contaminant management systems that improve the filtration and separation needs of oil & gas projects in multiple locations (Middle East, North Africa, Europe).
Helena also worked as Project Manager in different engineering companies covering all stages of project lifecycles.
Helena is an Industrial Engineer and holds a Master in Project Management (University of A Coruña). She also holds a Master in Environmental Engineering and is currently studying a Master in Renewable Energies (IMF Business School & Nebrija University).
