As a Bidding Manager at BlueFloat Energy in Taiwan, Huan is responsible for analyzing the bid requirements, identifying key success factors and coordinating different workstreams across the project team to prepare a winning bid.
Huan has been working in renewable energy for 5 years.
Before joining BlueFloat Energy, Huan was a senior consultant in the Renewables Consulting Group (RCG). One of his main tasks was to advise international developers and investors on entry strategies forthe APAC offshore wind and solar markets. During his tenure at RCG, Huan has worked on assignments covering Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines.
He also provided transaction advisory services with regards to commercial and regulatory aspects, including technical due diligence for offshore wind projects over 2GW, LCOE analysis for offshore wind and solar, and developing revenue projection models for electric vehicles in Taiwan.
Prior to his consultancy role, he worked at the Ministry of Economic Affairs department and an economic think-tank, Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER), as a researcher, where he was tasked with analysing and coordinating policy outcome across a wide range of energy issues from LNG, energy storage, to hydrogen application.
Huan holds an MSc in International Economic Law from National Cheng-Chi University (Taiwan) and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from National Taiwan University (Taiwan).
