Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
As Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality, Olivier Vinoche is responsible for integrating the QHSE concepts into the company’s organisational culture so that these are fully embedded in all our activities. This involves developing and implementing quality, health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, overseeing failure mode analysis, QHSE procedures and guidelines, managing certification programme, monitoring environmental impact, and fostering a safety-conscious culture in order to maintain the highest standards of occupational health, safety and environmental performance in our offshore wind projects.
Prior joining BlueFloat Energy, Olivier served for almost 10 years at Bourbon Subsea Services, a pioneer in floating offshore wind installation. He served as QHSE Manager for subsea business unit including Subsea vessels operations and Turnkey project QHSE Management. This included several floating offshore wind floaters’ installation, heavy maintenance operations, fabrication of electrical floating hub, and several Oil and Gas offshore projects. His role included as well Quality certification, management of QHSE Team, Greenhouse gas emission assessment.
Previously, Oliver held several roles in the field of QHSE including Risk Prevention Manager at CMA CGM (Management system development, incident investigation, crisis management, as well as on Carbon footprint development and risk assessment for new vessel design), and QHSE Engineer at SBM Offshore Contracting. He started his career in Environmental remediation after a Master’s degree in HSE engineering.
