As HR Manager, Rocío coordinates talent acquisition activities, articulating and implementing employer branding and recruitment strategies that attract the best talent in the fast-growing offshore wind sector. Rocio is also in charge of developing talent retention initiatives and ensuring positive employee experience by promoting the culture of continuous learning and development through training opportunities. She also supports other human resources projects and processes, such as HRIS implementation and development.
Over the course of her career, Rocío has been part of different organisations and projects, all of them with the commonality of having the employee and future employee as her main focus. In the beginning of her career, over the period of 7 years, she was part of Talent & Development area at Aegon. She worked extensively to fulfill the organization’s talent needs and to improve HR processes. She successfully led Workday implementation for Aegon Spain and was part of the global project team in the subsequent optimizations.
Rocío then went on to to implement Performance and Talent processes at the global level at Prosegur, followed by HR and Talent roles in other sectors such as cybersecurity, retail and healthcare for local but also for international organisations based abroad.
Rocío holds a Psychology degree (Universidad Complutense Madrid), studied her Erasmus in Tilburg (NL) and has recently obtained a Postgraduate program in Human Resources Management (Open University, UK).
