Site Assessment Engineer
As Site Assessment Engineer at BlueFloat Energy, Sandra supports the company’s business origination and project development activities related to site screening and selection. She is responsible for conducting energy yield assessment estimates, estimating project capacity and optimizing wind farm, supporting the wind turbine and floater selection activities, prepare site conditions reports for the basis of design of the projects, supervising and coordinating work of the external technical contractors.
Sandra Nieto is an environmental engineer with more than 2 years of professional experience.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Sandra was an engineer in wind projects at Naturgy – Global Power Generation through Izharia Engineering, in the Resource and Technology Assessment Department. She was responsible for managing and analyzing data of the wind energy assessment campaigns, selection of the wind turbine, micro siting studies, calculation of the energy yield.
Sandra holds a Bachelor´s degree in environmental engineering from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid (Spain) and a Master’s degree in renewable energy from Universidad Europea (Spain).
