The BlueFloat Energy Australia´s team spent four days at GNEC23, an event that served as a platform to celebrate the significant progress that Gippsland has already made on its journey towards a new energy future. Offshore wind will play a pivotal role in Gippsland’s decarbonization process, powering homes, industries, and communities while reducing carbon emissions – also creating jobs and attracting investment to the region. As we look forward to the future, we anticipate offshore wind projects to become a cornerstone of the energy transition.
BlueFloat Energy plans to build the The Greater Gippsland Offshore Wind Project that will create enough new green energy to power a million homes in Gippsland, creating thousands of jobs in construction and hundreds of ongoing jobs. But the benefits and opportunities of offshore wind can only be fully realised when we work together. The Gippsland New Energy Conference has been a testament to what can be achieved when communities, businesses, and policymakers unite behind a common goal. We are excited to be part of this journey and are confident that together, we will build a new industry to power the sustainable future.
