We are delighted to share the BlueFloat Energy – Nadara Partnership’s involvement in the Legambiente Goletta Verde campaign in Italy, an initiative that began over 30 years ago to monitor and protect the Italian seas from pollution.
During this year´s edition, Ksenia Balanda, General Manager of the BlueFloat Energy-Nadara Partnership in Italy, spoke at the “Offshore wind for the decarbonization of the energy system” event on 25th July in Brindisi where she emphasized: “Floating offshore wind represents a unique opportunity to integrate sustainable energy into Italy’s energy system while supporting local economies. By developing a local supply chain and infrastructure, we are not only creating new jobs and advanced vocational training but also supporting the broader environmental goals of preserving our marine ecosystems. The ports of Brindisi and Taranto, as potential hubs for the offshore wind industry, exemplify the positive impact on local communities and the environment.”
Next Tuesday 30th of July, Michela Presta, Stakeholder Manager of the BlueFloat Energy-Nadara Partnership in Italy, will discuss offshore wind’s role in marine conservation at Legambiente Goletta Verde’s event in Bari.
BlueFloat Energy-Nadara Partnership is at the forefront of floating offshore wind advancements in Puglia, Calabria, and Sardegna, aiming to enhance these regions’ energy independence, bolster local economies, and create new job opportunities.
