We’re proud to continue supporting the “Offshore Wind Talent Academy”, an initiative organized by AERO Associazione delle Energie Rinnovabili Offshore and ELIS, in collaboration with the BlueFloat Energy | Nadara Partnership in Italy.
The goal of this initiative is to build a pool of young, specialized talent equipped with the skills needed to support the development of offshore wind farms in Italy.
This week, participants delved into key areas of floating offshore wind technology, exploring topics such as Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPCI) strategies, project management, monitoring campaigns, and the transformation of port infrastructure for the fabrication and assembly of floaters and turbines. Sessions also covered FLiDAR technology for meteorological data collection, geophysical and geotechnical surveys, and critical aspects like safety and the authorization process for offshore wind projects.
By investing in capacity-building initiatives that aim to form the next generation of industry experts, we are committed to driving the development of Italy’s offshore wind sector.
