Parque Tarahal is a floating offshore wind energy project designed for the island of Gran Canaria in collaboration with the territory and institutions and located almost 7,8 km from the coast, 23 km away from the most touristic center of the island, Maspalomas.
The project will include 13 floating wind turbines with the potential to help reduce 25 million tons of CO2 emissions during its life cycle. Over 3,300 direct jobs will be created during the execution period, linked to the construction and dismantling of the park, of which approximately 1,100 will have a direct impact on the island of Gran Canaria.
