RenewableUK’s Global Offshore Wind 2024 Conference has been a fantastic experience for the BlueFloat Energy team in Manchester. As one of the global leaders in offshore wind, we engaged with local partners, stakeholders, and industry peers to discuss the future of offshore wind in the UK and beyond!
Kirsty Adams, Head of Supply Chain at the BlueFloat Energy | Renantis Partnership, participated in a panel discussion about how to best unlock UK’s offshore wind potential as outlined in the recent Industrial Growth Plan (IGP). Kirsty shared insights on the key enablers for the supply chain, exploring how to leverage lessons learned and build on the UK’s strengths to drive the offshore wind sector forward.
BlueFloat Energy also hosted a networking cocktail, attended by numerous industry representatives and leaders, where our CEO, Carlos Martin Rivals, delivered an inspiring speech. Carlos firmly believes: 2024 will be remembered as a turning point for floating offshore wind.
We need to deploy renewable energy generation swiftly and at scale to be able to meet the Paris Agreement targets and offshore wind could be a true gamechanger in this regard. At BlueFloat Energy, we believe that sharing innovation across projects and markets is crucial to improving existing technologies and practices. We are excited to continue participating in industry gatherings, fostering collaboration and advancing the offshore wind sector together.
