As Investment Manager, Alex leads BlueFloat Energy’s Investment Management Team (IMT) which is responsible for evaluating projects’ economics and investment opportunities, supporting project finance activities and contributing to strategic initiatives. Alex and the IMT use financial modelling to support key project decisions, analyse markets and appraise acquisitions, farm-downs and partnerships.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Alex worked in the Energy, Resources & Infrastructure team of BNP Paribas in London, executing both debt advisory and arranging non-recourse project financings across a broad spectrum of renewable energy and grid-based technologies in Europe. Notably, Alex was part of the debt advisory teams for the refinancing of the Saint-Nazaire project in France and the UK’s proposed nuclear power plant, Sizewell C.
Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from Durham University.
