As Business Project Manager for the APAC region at BlueFloat Energy, Eric believes that offshore wind plays a crucial role in helping the world transition to a net zero future. Based in Taiwan, Eric is responsible for supporting BlueFloat Energy’s business and project development activities across the APAC region. He acts as a focal point between the corporate functions and the local teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of offshore wind projects.
Before joining BlueFloat Energy, Eric worked for RWE Offshore Wind. Within RWE, Eric worked across Project Development Teams in California and in Taiwan, Central Floating Wind Department, Corporate Strategy, and Operation & Maintenance team in Continental Europe.
During his time in Europe, U.S, and APAC, Eric gained a high level of offshore wind exposure across various corporate functions and local teams. Being involved in various teams and successfully managing and ultimately delivering offshore wind projects is a source of motivation and purpose for Eric.
Eric holds an MSc of Renewable Energy Engineering and Management degree from the University of Freiburg and previously studied and worked in California.
