Irene Duet serves as BlueFloat Energy’s Paralegal. She coordinates corporate secretarial services for all the entities forming part of the BlueFloat Energy group. She is specialized in corporate law and Mergers & Acquisitions. Irene supports the legal team by filing and managing an archive of legal documentation, maintaining updated, accurate and organized files and databases and performing administrative and management duties related to the practice of law.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Irene worked as Junior Lawyer in Luis Baños Abogados, a law firm specialized in Corporate and M&A. Irene was in charge of several projects such as coordination of due diligence processes, corporate restructuring and capital increase deals. She was also responsible for the coordination and management of corporate secretarial services, procedures with the Commercial Register, Notaries and client relations. This experience provided Irene with key knowledge and analytical skills, as well as management, coordination, deal leadership and teamwork. Irene also has experience in drafting and managing legal documents, especially corporate documentation.
Irene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Universidad de Valencia (Spain). During her undergraduate studies she had the opportunity to study at the University of Bergen (Norway) where she participated in courses in Negotiation and Arbitration. Irene also holds a Master’s Degree in Law from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain).
