As Environmental, Permit & Consents Manager, Jessie is responsible for the environmental and permitting activities of our offshore wind projects in Taiwan, including the permits and consents required for the development, construction, and operation.
Jessie Chang has been working in renewable energy for 5 years.
Before joining BlueFloat Energy, Jessie served as a Permitting and Consent Manager at RWE Renewables Taiwan where she contributed to developing offshore wind projects in Hsinchu and Taichung. Jessie was responsible for the pre-bid permitting activities, and also worked on planning and executing the permits and consents required for later stage project execution activities.
Prior to this, Jessie worked at Unitech New Energy, a Taiwanese environmental consultancy company specializing in EIA-related services. Jessie provided consultancy services in environmental monitoring, EIA and other permitting aspects for offshore wind projects in Taiwan.
Jessie holds an MSc in Earth Science from University of Melbourne, Australia and a bachelor’s degree in Geoscience from National Taiwan University, Taiwan.
