Rowan is the Community Liaison Officer for BlueFloat Energy’s proposed offshore wind project Gippsland Dawn in the state of Victoria in Australia, and is responsible for working with the local communities to divulge information about the project, analyse community expectations and concerns and ensure that these are properly factored into the project stakeholder engagement strategy and technical design.
Prior to joining BlueFloat Energy, Rowan worked in various stakeholder engagement and economic development roles across the local government and telecommunications sectors. Rowan has worked closely with community groups and business owners across the Gippsland region, and is passionate about supporting local regional communities to build their capability to grow and succeed.
Rowan has also worked in marketing and communications in the telecommunications sector, developing experience in the coordination and delivery of national marketing campaigns across Australia.
Rowan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce from Monash University, Australia.
